A.C. Gilbert once said he never worked at anything if it wasn’t fun. At Gilbert House Children’s Museum, we take that to heart.

Working at Gilbert House means coming to a place every day where curiosity is celebrated, creativity is encouraged, and children’s energy fills the air. Our team is a passionate, dedicated group of educators, artists, makers, and community builders who share a deep commitment to our mission: inspiring children to learn through creative play.

Why Work With Us?

We believe the best team members are the ones who genuinely love what they do. At Gilbert House, you’ll find a supportive culture, meaningful work, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families in our community. Whether you’re leading a camp, guiding visitors through an exhibit, supporting a field trip, or developing new programming, your work here matters.

Who We’re Looking For

We look for team members who are enthusiastic, adaptable, and genuinely love working with children and families. Experience in education, child development, the arts, science, or nonprofit work is a plus — but a positive attitude, a spirit of play, and a willingness to grow are equally important to us.
